SWFAEP Spring Workshop: Upland/Wetland Transitional Plant Identification, Wetland Soils and Wetland Delineation


June 1 & 2, 2017

This two day workshop will be a combination of classroom and field training. With  classroom training be held at the Estero Community Center (9200 Corkscrew Palms Bld. Estero, FL) and  field training being held at Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed (CREW)

 This training workshop will be facilitated by Gregory J. Sawka, CPSS and Christina M. Uranowski.  Mr. Sawka is a Professional Soil Scientist, founder of Southeast Soil & Environmental Services, Inc. specializing in wetland delineation, hydric soil training, field investigations, and permit facilitation. Ms. Uranowski has 28 years of experience working in Florida’s coastal and freshwater wetlands that includes wetland regulation, exotic mapping and removal, seagrass mapping, algal identification, permitting and restoration, wetland delineation, functional and floristic assessment, wetland plant and grass and sedge identification, minimum flows and levels for wetlands and lakes, and plant physiology.
